What is Lattice Degeneration?
Lattice Degeneration is a condition that involves abnormal thinning of the peripheral retina over time. Lattice Degeneration is an inherited condition seen in 7-10% percent of the population.
- Most people often have no symptoms, but are at increased risk of developing a retinal tear or retinal detachment.
- Lattice Degeneration may be treated with laser treatment to prevent development of a Retinal Tear or a full-on Retinal Detachment.
- Our goal is to maximize your vision and improve your quality of life.
